March 18th, 2008 weather

Hi everyone!

The big storms ended up falling apart through the night, so we didn't get the huge organized squall line. Instead today, there are many thin lines of very heavy rain moving s-l-o-w-l-y eastward over us. East TX is under the gun today and tonight for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms!

Right now, a line of thunderstorms is slowly making its way into our area. The sky is getting darker by the minute and the wind has started gusting heavily. I am just waiting for the deluge to begin! We could use 2-3 inches of rain to help bring up new grass and stop the fire danger.
